The Mehran is a mobile air defense system developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran to engage aerial targets at distances of up to 320 kilometers. The weapon system seems to have been optimized for engagements against stealth targets such as the Israeli Air Force F-35I aircraft. The Mehran air defense system was unveiled in late 2023 and entered service within 2024.
