The Panser 6x6, also known as APS-3 Anoa, is a medium armored vehicle designed and manufactured by PT Pindad locally in Indonesia and intended for troops transport and cavalry missions on the battlefield. The vehicle is fitted with a roof-mounted weapon station for a 12.7mm machine gun or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher. The Panser 6x6 was developed following an Indonesian Army requirement for 150 cavalry vehicles. PT Pindad unveiled the first prototype in 2006 and entered service with the Indonesian Army in the 2008-2009 timeframe.

The Panser's three men crew consists of a driver, commander and gunner operating a 12.7mm machine gun with 500 rounds. Besides, the armored vehicle providing STANAG 4569 Level 3 ballistic protection can transport 10 fully-equipped infantrymen in its armored personnel carrier (APC) role. The 14-ton vehicle is powered by a 220-hp Renault turbo-charged diesel engine developing a maximum speed of 92 kilometers per hour.
