The Skyward-G is an advanced infrared search and track (IRST) sight system developed by SELEX Galileo for fourth and fifth generation aircraft such as the Saab Gripen NG. The purpose of the Skyward-G is to detect and track airborne threats following its infrared emissions and providing an automatic clue to infrared-guided and other air-to-air missiles.
