The Jask is a sea-launched, long-range, cruise missile developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran under the Jask-2 program. The missile is intended to hit targets at sea and onshore after being launched from submarines with an estimated range in the hundreds of kilometers rather than thousand kilometers. The Jask cruise missile was unveiled by the Iranian Navy in late 2019 and at that point the program was already at the mass production phase. It is expected that all Iranian submarines will be fitted with Jask cruise missiles. An improved range variant might be being developed under the Jask-3 program.
