The Russian Air Force ODAB-500PMV is a fuel-air explosive (FAE) bomb developed by Tehmash to destroy industrial facilities, manpower and equipment. The FAE bomb is provided with a liquid combustible mixture that is sprayed when the bomb detonates forming a cloud that is ignited by a special initiating charge. The objects wihin the resulting huge fireball zone are lit up including those inside shelters, trenches, buildings and fortified bunkers. The ODAB-500PMV was showcased at the Moscow Airshow in July 2017.
