The Pralay is a tactical ballistic missile being developed by India to hit targets at ranges between 150 and 500 kilometers. The solid-propellant Pralay missile follows a quasi-ballistic trajectory to avoid missile defenses and features innovative technologies. The missile has been designed to be launch from mobile platforms and may equip with either a conventional or nuclear warhead. India conducted the first test launch of the Pralay missile on December 22, 2021. It is expected that the new tactical missile enters service within the Indian Armed Forces by 2024-2025.
