The Sadaf-2 is a naval mine developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran to close narrow sea lines such as the Strait of Hormuz. The mine can be deployed by both surface ships and submarines. The Sadaf-2 naval mine was unveiled by the Iranian Navy in late 2019.
