The B-05, formerly known as K-15 Sagarika, is a submarine-launched medium range ballistic missile (MRBM) being developed by India's Defense, Research and Development Organization (DRDO) to equip the Indian Navy's ATV submarines. DRDO started the development of this missile in the mid-1990s. The Sagarika has a maximum range of 650-750 kilometers carrying a nuclear warhead of 5,000 kg. It is intended to hit targets into Pakistan and China starting in 2010/2011 when the ATV is expected to be commissioned.
