The DT-30PM, also known as Vezdesushchy or 'omnipresent' in English, is a two-section tracked all-terrain carrier vehicle intended to transport cargo for military customers on difficult roads under severe weather climate and conditions. It is modernized version of the DT-30 multipurpose tracked vehicle. The vehicle has been designed to operate at the temperatures from 40 degrees above zero to -45 degrees. The DT-30PM is also capable of carrying loads crossing water obstacles without special preparation. The Russian Ministry of Defense is the primary operator of this tracked vehicle manufactured by Vityaz machine-building company.
The DT-30PM is powered by a 800-hp engine developing a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour on road and 5-6 kilometers per hour on water. The vehicle can also cross swamps, untried snow fields and bad dirt roads thanks to its high off-road capabilities. The empty carrier vehicle weighs 30-ton and can carry a payload of up to 30-ton between the two sections, while the vehicle's cab in the frontal section provides seating for a crew of five-man. Typically, the DT-30PM articulated carrier serves as a light armored transport for munitions, military equipment and personnel. The DT-30P1 version unveiled at the Russian Arms Expo (RAE) in September 2013 has a lifting capacity of 30 tons.
