The NS200 is an advanced multi-mission, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar for naval applications developed by Thales and featuring dual-axis, multi-beam technology. The new radar operates in the S-band and provides fully automated detection and tracking of all naval threats. The radar also incorporates the newer and more powerful Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. The NS200 has a maximum range of 400 kilometers and can be integrated on a variety of surface combatants ranging from corvettes to destroyers. Thales introduced the NS200 radar at the Euronaval exhibition, Paris, in October 2016.
