The Thales Scout is an X-band, short-to-medium range surface surveillance and tactical navigation radar intended for ship applications. The all-weather Scout radar system features high reliability, low weight and small dimensions and can be integrated with Command and Control (C2) systems and I-band pulse navigation radar. The Scout Mk2 is an enhanced version featuring Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW), fully solid state technology, and low probability of interception (LPI) which makes the system ideal for cover operations in hostile environments where radar silence is required.
