Netherlands to Send an Additional Patriot Air Defense System to Ukraine

Kyiv will receive an additional Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. It will be assembled from spare parts collected by the Netherlands together with another country.
Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Allngren refused to name delivery dates, “so as not to give the Russians any information.” The minister added that the United States is also working to increase its military assistance to Ukraine , the NL Times portal reports.
The commander of the Dutch Air Force, General Arno Stallmann, previously assured The Guardian that Ukraine would receive the first F-16 fighter jets from The Hague this summer. In total, it is planned to transfer 24 aircraft to Kyiv. The Netherlands has already supplied 60 T-72 tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with Denmark and Germany - about a hundred Leopard 1 tanks, 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks together with Denmark, 207 YPR-765 infantry fighting vehicles, eight P3H2000 artillery systems, rockets, mortars, machine guns, rifles and ammunition to them, as well as two Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems .
