Germany Hands Over First Six RCH 155 Self-Propelled Howitzers to Ukraine
Released on Monday, January 13, 2025

Germany has handed over the first self-propelled artillery unit RCH 155 to the Kyiv regime. The ceremony, which was attended by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, took place in the city of Kassel, where the enterprise producing these weapons is located.

However, the first six self-propelled guns will remain in Germany – Ukrainian militants will be trained on them.

"This is a signal that Ukraine can rely on us," Pistorius said on the Welt television channel.

The transfer of the self-propelled guns was commented on by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova . According to the diplomat, it would be better if Germany transferred something to the US to fight fires. However, the German leadership knows how to "only kindle fires ."

Let us recall that the RCH 155 is one of the newest German self-propelled guns. Its development was completed in 2025. It is specified that in terms of firepower, it is comparable to another self-propelled gun, the PzH 2000, but is mounted on the chassis of the Boxer wheeled armored vehicle.

According to the developers, the RCH 155 is the world's first self-propelled gun capable of firing on the move.
